| Cascades subdivision. This is directly from one of my clients
This is really an exquisite subdivision. No other subdivision has the beauty and privacy that this place is gifted with. Natural lake, River, protected wood lands all around for 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Its an Island by itself and yet located close to Haggerty/I 275. in their view: The house values in this sub are in 4 ranges. 1. Higher for the ones with direct access to lake, river and woods (3400 sq ft). 2. The small ones on the lake/river with limited access (2800 sq ft) and large ones with remote access to the water. 3. The bigger ones on the inner circle (3400 sq ft) and 4. The smaller ones on the inner circle (2800 sq ft). Cascades Subdivision has about 63 homes in it. The homes were constructed between 1998 -2004. What is an added feature of the subdivision is that right down the street is the beginning of Hines Drive, the Rouge river, and several of Hines Drive's great parks. Miles of hiking, bicycle riding, and even a disc golf are just a short distance away. It is a small sub so there is not a little traffic. If you look at the sub from a map it looks like a "P". You enter the sub and see the lake as you enter. You can't swim in it but it is a great place to watch the wild life. A lovely pathway winds it way through the subdivision to a natural outlook on Waterford Lake. Waterford Lake is not a large lake but more of a large pond.
