Howell Michigan - Genoa Michigan
If you are new to the area let me tell you a little bit about Howell and Genoa Township. Howell is more of a rural community that a congested urban area. Yes the Howell area has grown in the last 15 years. There are plenty of banks, stores, restaurants, bar, churches, and entertainment venues. A few years ago many of the residents would be traveling to Brighton, Ann Arbor, or Novi to do their shopping but it is not that way anymore.
Grand River is the main thoroughfare down the middle of the city. There is a historic city center and down the road is where all the newer stores and big box stores are at. But Metro Detroit home buyers pick Livingston County and Howell as one of the areas that home buyers pick when they are looking for space.
Howell Real estate
Howell homes around the historic city center. There are some wonderful Victorian homes in the area. As you get further away from the city you will find plenty of homes sitting on larger lots.
Some on farms
Some over 20 acres.
Some of the homes sit on acreage.
Some are on wooded lots so private you can't see another home.
Of course there are lakefront homes in the area. Thompson Lake and Lake Chemung are close by. On the lakes you will find little small cottages from the 1930's to newer built large colonial homes with the latest amenities.
It is the same way with much of Howell real estate. So are older homes some are brand new homes. Howell is a growing area.
