During the early 20th century, Keego Harbor was a resort town for wealthy Detroiters who purchased cottages because of the city's natural beauty and glow. Who knows which of the auto barons visited Keego Harbor in the early years? It was less than a couple hours drive even on the old muddy unpaved roads in the early 1900's.
