It takes commitment to make the transition from renting to buying. You are getting a place of your own and if you want to keep it you have to make the payments. You need to make the commitment to make the payments on time. It is not like an apartment. You should be late or not make the payment. You can lose your home and your investment into the home.
You will have more pride in your property. How it looks, your style will be important to you. It's called price of ownership.
When you are thinking about buying a Livonia home or any home in Michigan calculate carefully what you can afford to pay. I cannot stress how important this is. You want to keep this house. If you can save some money for back up. You should have money for repairs and maintenance. You will spend money and time keeping your home repaired. In an apartment you just called somebody to fix it. Now it will be your responsibility to get it done.
Bottom line it is all you now to take of your home and make the payments. It may seem overwhelming at first but you will be glad you take the steps to buy a home.
