Millage Rates in Novi Michigan

Everybody needs to know about Novi Millage rates so you can make a good decision when buying Novi real estate.  Sometimes it makes sense to buy in a different city because the property taxes are so much better.  With Novi's good schools, nice subdivisions, decent millage rates, and low crime rate it makes moving to Novi a great choice.  

Over the last several years Novi's property taxeshave fallen due to the falling real estate market values.  (2010)  Hopefully in the near future home values in the Metro Detroit area will start to rise.  Once they start rising you will see property taxes rise.  The Millage rates have fallen much, but the SEV and taxable values of Novi homes have.  Novi Millage Rates are just one component of Novi property taxes.

Novi's millage ratesare neither extremely high or extremely low.  Though if you live in Novi and in the Northville school district you get very good schools for a low millage rate.
