Northville Colony Subdivision Northville Michigan

Northville Colony subdivision does have a one homeowners association.  As usual with all the newer Northville subdivisions you cannot have a fence unless you have a pool.  Northville Colony has about 580.  The homes were constructed between 1971 - 1990.  The subdivision has a very active association that puts on events like:

• Summer Picnic
• Christmas party with Santa
• Campout in the park
• Holiday light contest
• Subdivision garage sale

The sub has a good sized commons area with walking paths, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a covered pavilion with picnic tables.

The characteristics of the homes are: mostly Colonial, Ranch, and Cape Cod style, ranch homes range from 1400 - 2000 square foot, colonial homes range from 2000 - 2900 square foot, brick/vinyl, brick exteriors, 2 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms, basements.


The children in the sub will go to award winning Northville Schools unless you choose to send them to one of the many fine private schools in the area.  The kids will go to Winchester Elementary, and Meads Mill Middle School which are within walking distance.  Though Meads Mill is a little distance away.  Both schools have large grounds for children playing. 

The main entrance to the sub is off 6 Mile Rd. location of the subdivision is between 5 and 6 mile roads and between Haggerty and Northville Roads. If you have a Michigan relocation you will be glad to know that you are about a mile down the road from I-275 which connects to all the major highways in Metro Detroit.  So you can get to the airport in about 30 minutes. 

Stores, banks are all within a 5 - 10 minute drive!
