Northville Commons Subdivision Northville Michigan

Northville Commons subdivision has a homeowners association.  The sub has sidewalk which makes walking the dog, walking with the kids, or taking a stroller safer.  Northville Commons has about 325 homes.  The homes were constructed between 1971 -1980.

The characteristics of the homes are: mostly Colonial, Ranch, and Cape Cod style, ranch homes range from 1700 - 2400 square foot, colonial homes range from 2300 - 3500 square foot, Aluminum, vinyl, brick/vinyl, brick exteriors, 2 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms, basements.

The children in the sub go to one of the best school systems in Wayne and Oakland County.  The school district is Northville Schools and Northville Commons has Winchester elementary and Meads Mill within walking distance.  You can say Winchester elementary is right in the sub.  Northville High School is about 3 miles down the road.  

There are 22 acres of parks and 1.6 miles of paved paths in the subdivision.  It also has lighted tennis courts and basketball courts and a pavillion.   The subdivision's official website is www.Northvillecommons.org  The subdivision puts out a  bi-monthly newsletter call the Common Thread.

     Garden club walks and meetings

You enter the sub off 6 mile Rd.  The location of the subdivision is between 5 and 6 mile roads and between Haggerty and Northville Roads.  What ever you need is close by.  There is a big shopping center at the 6 Mile and Haggerty intersection which is about a mile down the road.  Downtown Northville is only 5-10 minutes away.
