Northville Ridge is one of Northville newer mid range subs. It does have a homeowners association. So if you have a dog you have to have an invisible fence. Fences are not allowed unless you have a pool. Northville Ridge has about 356 homes in it. The homes were constructed between 1971 -1990.
I like this neighborhood a lot. It has walking paths, commons areas, a community pool and club house. There is also a nice pond that you can walk to watch the wildlife. There is no swimming in it but it is very relaxing to sit there. I have stopped there when I have time between appointments to sit and relax.
The children go to one of the top school systems in the western suburbs of Metro Detroit Northville Schools. Another great feature of the neighborhood is that the elementary school your children will be going to is right next to the sub. Many parents walk their kids right to school. Very convenient and gives you a sense of security that your kids are nearby.
The characteristics of the homes are: mostly Colonial and Cape Cod style, homes range from 2100 - 3600 square foot, have brick and brick & vinyl exteriors, 2 & 3 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms, full basements.
You can enter the neighborhood off Six Mile Rd. The sub is right across the street from Steeplechase sub. The location of the subdivision is between 5 and 6 mile roads and between Ridge and Napier Roads.
