Rolling Oaks subdivision entrances are off North Territorial Rd.  The sub is just a mile north of the M-14 highway entrance.  This is great for anybody that wants to buy in the sub.  You can get to the airport in less than 35 minutes, to downtown Detroit in less than 30 and to Ann Arbor in less than 20 minutes.

Rolling Oaks has about 156 homes in it.  The homes were constructed between 1997 - 2002. The subdivision homes are on larger lots with no fences.  The sub has a home owners association so no fences are allowed unless you have a pool.  Your home is not jammed up close to one another.  The subdivision does have a club house and community pool for the residents use.
The common features of the homes are:
  •  mostly Colonial and Cape Cod style
  •  brick exteriors & brick/wood exteriors
  •  1st floor laundry room
  •  Formal dining rooms
  •  3 car garages
  •  homes range from 2700 - 3500 square ft
  •  Soaring ceilings
  •  4-5 bedrooms
  •  Libraries/living room
  •  2.5 + bathrooms
  •  Spacious kitchens with plenty of cabinets and counter space
  •  full basements (some walkout, some regular basements)

.  A few homes in the sub back up to M-14 expressway.

The children in the sub can go to a private school or Plymouth Canton Schools district
which is a good public school system.  The average class size is:

Middle School: 30
High School: 31
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools operates 15 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools and an alternative high school program. To additionally support our community, the district provides extensive preschool programming as well as before-school and after-school child care and summer care programs for elementary and middle school students. Over 1,000 full-time teachers work to provide our students with the educational opportunities they need to become productive citizens in a global community.
