Steeplechase subdivision does have a homeowners association. Most newer Southeastern Michigan neighborhoods that have associations will not allow fences unless you have a pool. If you have a dog you must install an invisible fence. Steeplechase has about 175 homes in it. The homes sit on good sized lots and you are not on top of your neighbors. One of the added features of the neighborhood is that they have a clubhouse, pool, and fitness center for the residents use. There are also walking trails through the subdivision. There are sidewalks so the children are safer and it makes it simpler to take a baby stroller or a dog for a walk. The homes were constructed by Toll Brothers between 2003 -2013. Toll Brothers is a one of the best high end builders in the state. The subdivision is still not complete with some homesites still available. There is one totally complete part of the sub that is entered off 7 Mile Rd. The Southern 6 mile section has not been completed yet. The children in the subdivision will go to one of the finest school systems in the Metro Detroit area, Northville Schools Some of the other features that these beautiful homes have are:
The neighborhood is located on the Western side of Northville. The area west of the subdivision is semi rural, but other beautiful subs like Arcadia Ridge and Stonewater Subdivision (High end sub) are nearby You can enter the sub from either 7 Mile Road or 8 Mile Road. The subdivision is between 6 and 7 mile roads and between Ridge and Napier Roads.
