Windridge subdivision is just a small neighborhood that sits at the corner of 7 Mile and Haggerty Rd. It has about 101 homes in it. The homes were constructed between 1995 -1999. What is nice about the neighborhood is that there are mature trees that tower over 60 feet tall. There are sidewalks that make it a little safer for the children to walk around. It is a stroller friendly neighborhood. It does have a home owners associations so no fences are allowed unless you have a pool.
The characteristic of the homes are: Colonial and Cape Cod style, homes range from 2800 - 3300 square foot, brick exteriors, 2 & 3 car side entry garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms, full basements.

The location of the subdivision is between 7 and 8 mile roads and between Haggerty and Northville Roads. If you exit out of the subdivision you enter what I call restuarant row on Haggerty Road. There are over 30 restuarants in a 4 mile stretch on Haggerty Rd. You can get on I-275 within a couple of minutes and be down at Metro Airport in about 35 minutes. Stores, a movie theatre, and 6 restaurants are within walking distance of Wind Ridge subdivision.
