Northville Michigan

The City of Northville has an excellent city center with little shops, restaurants, bars, and stores. Around the city center are homes of many different style, but the predominant style of homes are older Victorian homes. Some of these beautiful Northville Victorian homes date back to the 1800's. Some of them have beautiful outside wood work. Over the years Northville residents have updated some of these old Victorian homes with new kitchens, more insulation, vinyl siding, udpated baths, new windows, and more. Is Northville safe?

Most of Northville's homes are on paved roads. Though there is a section of Northville west of downtown that has some gravel roads. There also is a section of Northville Township that has gravel roads. That is in the Southeast corner of the township. The real estate on these roads will vary from small ranch homes to newer colonials. Sometime they will have large lots too. 

The area west of Downtown Northville is heavily wooded. It is almost like being up north. But remember you have to deal with the gravel roads to get to your home. But there are deer and all sorts of wildlife in that area. But Michigan deer are all over. They have been spotted at 7 Mile and Haggerty Rd. A friend of mine had a deer run into his moving car at Beck Rd and 8 Mile this summer!
