When relocating to Livingston County Michigan you might be surprised to learn that the area is full of lakes. Lakes like Woodland Lake in Brighton, or Long Lake in Hartland are very desirable to lake home buyers. However the Portage Chain of Lakes in the Hamburg area is probably the most attractive lake area to home buyers. The ability to go from lake to lake is a lot of fun. The Chain of Lakes is one of the few lake chains in Southeastern Michigan. There is no lack of scenery and fishing spots on the chain of lakes. The country and the seclusion is why many Livingston County relocation buyers choose the area. If you are looking for a small farm or a home with acreage then you will be able to find it here. I have seen areas where I thought I was up north. Homes that sat back a mile off the roads, or homes that sat in acres of woodlands. No neighbors houses could be seen. Some relocation home buyers like that versus the look alike subdivision home. Of course you can find some log cabins, lots of Livingston County lake front homes, big new colonials, and small ranches. Whatever type of home you are looking for you will be able to find it here.
