Abbey Knoll subdivision does have a home owners association.  There are about 98 homes in the sub.  The homes were constructed between 1986 -1989.

Here are some of the characteristics of the sub's homes:  Colonials, Cape Cods, and some ranches are the main styles.  Most of the homes have brick/vinyl, brick exteriors, 2 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms, basements.  Homes range from 2300 - 3400 square ft.

Northville has an excellent school system.  The children in the sub go to Northville Schools.   

The location of the subdivision is between 8 and 9 mile roads and between Taft and Beck Roads.  From Beck Road it is just a short distance to two of the major freeways in Detroit I-696 and M-14.  Shopping, restaurants, banks, and a major hospital are all just a few minutes away.  Two major malls are within 20 minutes (Laurel Park and Twelve Oaks)
