Brookstone subdivision.  The entrance of the sub is off Haggerty.  It is a circular sub with 3 or 4 cul de sacs off the circle.  So many of the homes are on quiet streets.  It is a small sub so there is not much traffic in the first place.  Brookstone is one of Northville's many newer subdivisions.  It has about 67 homes in it.  The sub's homes were constructed during the years of 1996 -1998.  The pride of ownership shows in the well manicured lawns and gardens of the sub.

The characteristics of the homes are:  square footage range from 2600 - 3700, mostly Colonial and Cape Cod style, brick exteriors, 3 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms, 2 + bathrooms, basements, asphalt driveways.

Most of these Novi homes will also have these features:

• Wainscoting
• Crown Molding
• Large master suites
• Walk-in Closets
• Soaring ceilings in the great room
• Ceramic tile bathrooms
• Gorgeous foyers and entranceways
• Master baths
• Cozy fireplaces
• Granite, or corian countertops

Many of the homes in Brookstone subdivision back up to woods, some of the homes have 1st floor offices, decks, paver patios.

The children of the sub would go to Northville Schools or go to one of the many fine private schools in the area. The schools are Winchester Elementary, Meads Middle School, and Northville High School.

You can't ask for a better location.  Two - three minutes to I -275, 25 minutes to downtown, 30 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to Ann Arbor, and less than 30 minutes to Southfield.  The location of the subdivision is between 5 and 6 mile roads and between Haggerty and Bradner Roads.  I always call Haggerty restaurant row.  From 5 Mile Rd to 9 Mile Rd there are probably 50 different types of restaurants from Coney Islands, Italian, Japanese, to Argentine Steak houses.  If you are shopper then Laurel Park Place Mall is 5 minutes away and Twelve Oaks Mall is about 20 minutes away.
